This event will honor Temple’s Presidential Humanities and Arts Research Program awardees who will present their creative efforts to the Temple community. Awardees will present brief synopses of their creative projects through posters/exhibits, performance demonstrations, or oral presentations.
The Presidential Humanities and Arts Research Program – now in its third year – recognizes and fosters faculty research, scholarship and creative activity in the humanities and arts. The response to this presidential initiative continues to be overwhelming, and underscores the highly creative and innovative work of our faculty. This goal has been clearly realized through the awarded projects, which include scholarly books and journal publications, dance, drama and musical performances, community-based arts and culture programs, digital arts and humanities projects, artistic and museum installations, and film documentaries.
This event will take place April 23 from 2-4 p.m. in the Howard Gittis Student Center, Room 200. Event details can be found here.
