Professor Scott Burris Receives Jay Healey Health Law Teachers Award
Scott Burris, Juris Doctor, Professor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and Director of the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR) has been awarded the prestigious Jay Healey Health Law Teachers Award. Dr. Burris received this award because of his passion and commitment to the field of health law.

Temple Attains $2.59 Million Grant to Combat Dental Anxiety
A collaboration between Marisol Tellez Merchán, associate professor at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, and Richard G. Heimberg, professor of psychology in the College of Liberal Arts is showing promising results in the battle against dental anxiety, as evidenced by a $2.59 million award from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, a branch of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
