TODAY'S TIP: Visual Thesaurus Synonymous with Amazing!

For an educational experience that's plumb fun, check out The
Plumb Design Visual Thesaurus
[ http://www.plumbdesign.com/thesaurus/ ]. In an ever-moving
dance of associated words (you pick either 3-D or 2-D), the
animated thesaurus invites visitors to toy with the English
language -- literally. The vibrating vocabulary enables users to
click on words to view interlaced meanings and to manipulate the
on-screen action based on selected parts of speech. Operating on
Plumb Design's own Thinkmap software, the Visual Thesaurus
accesses data from Princeton University's WordNet database, a
publicly available resource that contains more than 50,000 words
and 40,000 phrases collected into over 70,000 sense meanings.
